~Earth We Need You !~
Without the Earth we would have nothing. No water, no shelter, no food, no resources, etc. Life itself may not be that great, but regardless of it all, we depend on the earth's resources. Ofcoarse we know that Earth is daily experiencing issues, but it hasn't given up the fight to provide for the life that depends on it. Name some resources that the Earth has provided that you would hate to lose, and explain why you feel the way you do about it.
I would hate to lose the freshwater supply that Earth provides us. I would hate to lose it because we need water to survive. Even though people dont think about how much water does for us, without it there would be no life!
ReplyDeleteEarth has provided us with trees. Trees give off oxygen that keeps us alive. We use a lot of paper which means we are destroying a lot of trees. If we lost them we wouldn't even have oxygen to inhale to keep us living.
ReplyDeleteThe Earth has provided us natural oil and gas which helps us do many things. We woulnd't be able to get places or use many of the technology we have today without oil or gas. Although oil and gas can get expensive, I'm thankful that the Earth has given them to us!
ReplyDeleteEarth has provided us with fruits and vegtables. Then we use the seeds from those plants to grow those plants. Without those we couldn't survive
ReplyDeleteEarth has provided us with the natural resource of coal. The coal busniness has given alot of job opporunties, but more importantly coal produces heat and energy.
ReplyDeleteA natural resource that I would hate to lose would have to be the rocks and minerals. Many rocks and minerals are used in the buildings and places we visit today.
ReplyDeleteEarth has, throughout time, provided us with many resources to make our lives easier and help us survive. I would hate to lose the trees as they provide us with a basic component for air. I would also hate to lose minerals, as they are used to build technology that can be used for good.
ReplyDeleteI would hate to lose things like trees that give us oxygen and fresh water that we can drink. If we lost those, we couldn't live! Water is also a way of getting energy and trees can also be used for lumber, paper, etc.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh there are way to many things on this earth that I would hate to lose. Some of the resources though would be very immature and some aren't. I would hate to lose access to the internet and the XBOX360. My reason for this is because I spend a lot of my time the two. Days that i'm very bored i'm usually would find myself using one of those. Also I would hate to lose the privelage of being able to go to school. Even though no one likes school, we need it. We are very fortunate to be able to go to school for free. In a lot of countries, school isn't free.
ReplyDeletethe earth provides everything we need to live like food, water, resources, and a place to call home! without the earth there would be no jeremy wells or earth and enviromental science. We probably wouldnt be living without the earth, thats why we need to take of earth.
ReplyDeleteWithout pure clean soil we would not be able to have almost everything we eat because we would have no resources to make them.
ReplyDeleteI would hate to lose alot of the products earth has that we use to make technolgy parts and all of the things earth has to help us make the things we have.
ReplyDeleteI would hate to lose water above anything else. Food is important and required but if I could choose one thing it'd be water. It gives us life and without shelter it's still able to help but a shelter without water is as good as useless. The same can be said for pretty much any other thing that the earth provides us with. While everything on Earth is vital water seems to be the most important.
